Design Aspects of the JWST Calibration Pipeline Software

چکیده

Some considerations relating to the design of the JWST Calibration pipelines are presented. Much of the code for calibrating the detectors can be shared among the instruments, and the fact that several observing modes are common to more than one instrument means that it makes sense to design the pipelines to calibrate observing modes rather than instruments.
